Eric is a founding Partner of Sitex Realty Group. His role at Sitex includes equity sourcing, bank debt, the acquisition/disposition process and general strategic planning. He was a Charted Accountant in South Africa, attended The University of Michigan for an MBA in Finance (1968) and then worked for Touche Ross as a management consultant. He moved to Chicago to work for Sam Zell and then started his own business in 1978 doing condo conversions, syndicated acquisitions of office, retail and industrial real estate in Chicago, North Carolina and Georgia. Eric and Hersch Klaff developed and syndicated transactions in the late eighties and early nineties. In addition to over 35 years of real estate experience, Eric was co-owner of Distributors Stock Forms Inc. has been an active venture investor and currently serves on advisory boards, two real estate and a finance company. Not for profit boards include Jobs for Youth and Spertus Institute.
